2026 HOLIDAY CAMPS

Meet the camp director
Ms. Karen
Ms. Karen is a dedicated English educator from Brazil with over 20-years of experience working with young learners from many different countries and backgrounds.
Throughout her career she has taught in the UK, the USA, Russia, Brazil, and across Southeast Asia, designing and teaching engaging programmes that help children build confidence while learning English.

Ms. Karen holds a degree in Education and several professional English language teaching qualifications, including specialization in young learner education, phonics, and communicative language teaching. Her programmes combine structured language learning with games, storytelling, creative projects, and real-life communication so children learn English naturally while enjoying their camp experience.
As Camp Director, Karen oversees the academic design of the camp, ensuring a warm, well-organised environment where children are safe, feel supported, make friends, and grow in both confidence and language.

3:00 P.M. - 3:30 P.M - English in Action!
7 dedicated English sessions – 5 hours of English each day
During the 6 daily English sessions, children explore meaningful themes connected to their everyday world — family, school, food, animals, shopping, and life in town — while using English naturally through stories, role play, crafts, games, and hands-on projects. Language is introduced in context and practised through interaction, creativity, and purposeful activities.
Beyond language learning, the camp supports child development. We nurture confidence, independence, cooperation, good manners, and social skills in a structured yet joyful environment. Movement, fine motor development, guided tasks, and collaborative work are thoughtfully integrated throughout the day.
The final 30-minutes of each day is called “English in Action.” This time is set aside for students to work on group activities and to prepare presentations to showcase what they have learned throughout camp.

Each camper compiles a folder combining interactive worksheets, creative projects, and simple writing tasks. This becomes a keepsake of their learning — something they can revisit with pride long after the camp ends.
Each camper will receive a certificate of completion
1 week camp = 25-hour English camp certificate
2-week camp = 50-hour English camp certificate
